Environmental Performance
We continue to make significant progress in improving our internal processes to become a more efficient and sustainable company. In fiscal 2025, we conducted our first company-wide inventory of energy usage, water consumption, and Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions, which is presented below. This information establishes a baseline that will be used to help measure the future success of our ongoing programs to reduce the intensity of our energy usage, water consumption, emissions and waste.

Novent Refrigerant Caps protect children from the dangers of inhalation, while accredited Firestop Solution products help to protect everyone by ensuring building safety. In addition, most of our Thread Sealants and Solvent Cements are NSF-certified, meeting public health standards and certifications programs that help protect the world’s food, water, consumer products and environment.
TRUaire, a leading HVAC manufacturer of high-quality, affordable residential and commercial grilles, registers, and diffusers strives to use recycled plastic material for all plastic products.
As a manufacturer of life safety products for the constructed environment, Smoke Guard is dedicated to supporting LEED buildings and the American Institute of Architecture’s commitment to the 2030 Challenge to prioritizing energy performance. Our innovative, low-energy requirement, space-saving, smoke and fire-rated opening protectives enable designers to use less material to achieve design goals and achieve code compliance.
Greco, a leading manufacturer of corrosion-resistant aluminum, stainless steel, and glass railing systems that meet the desired aesthetics, performance and requirements of any building, invested in a state-of-the-art filter system for their waterjet to eliminate waste water, and instead recycle water used for continued operations.
A primary focus for Whitmore is to reduce its environmental impact in multiple ways, including lowering energy consumption and trash generation, increasing global conservation, and reducing its carbon footprint. Whitmore strives to protect land and water by strictly adhering to air and water quality standards and complying with GHS (Global Harmonized System). With the help of technology and a continuing investment in research and development, Whitmore is also working to create renewable and eco-friendly products.
As environmental requirements become more stringent, Jet-Lube will continue to lead the way with environmentally responsible products that offer the greatest protection for our customers’ equipment and company. Our line of environmentally safe products are free of heavy metals and feature an alkaline tolerant thickener system and patented extreme pressure anti-wear composition.
